.: Boys, Girls Take Dozens of Awards at Cruise Classic

The Wildcard boys team opened up the 2012 Wildcard Cruise Classic by taking winning a pair of all-around awards. Owen M. (lower left) won Level 4 while Reed B. took home Level 6 All-Around setting four club records in the process. West F. set a pair of Level 3 club records and won rings. Max B. won three events in level 4, while Myles M. also took home an event win. In Level 5, Bryce W. won floor and rings. Click here for complete meet results. Click here for Wildcard results. Click here for photos from the boys' meet. The boys will next compete at the Midwest Twisters Invitational in February. Meet information will follow. On Sunday, January 15, the girls team took the floor claiming lots of medals. In Level 3, Emily G., Ava C. and Sophia B. each won all-around titles. In Level 5, Emma S. (top left) swept the event and all-around awards. The Modified Optionals did well with Bradyn F. winning the novice level and Mackenzie P. winning the advance level. Ashley W. won the all-around in Level 7, while Heidi K. and Glenna P. each won their vault divisions. In Level 8, Hallie F. took first on uneven bars. .: Open Gyms

Wildcard Gymnastics holds preschool open gyms on Mondays and Fridays from 9-11 a.m. Cost is $5. Wednesday morning open gym has been indefinitely canceled.

Friday evening open gym is held from 8:30-10 p.m.. Cost is $8 with an additional $2 for pizza. Team members receive an additional $2 off.

Saturday evening open gym begins September 10 and is held from 7-9 p.m. Cost is $8. Team members receive an additional $2 off.

NOTE: There is no open gym on Friday, January 13, or Saturday, January 14, due to the 2012 Wildcard Cruise Classic.
