Scamps Blizzard Invitational

Wildcard's Level 3s and Level 8s had their best meet of the young season at the Scamps Blizzard Invitational in Kenosha, Wis.

Mardi Gras at French Immersion School

Wildcard Gymanstics' boys' and girls' team performed for parents and students at Milwaukee French Immersion School during their Mardi Gras party.

Caribbean Winter Invitational -- Day 1

14 members of the Wildcard Gymnastics team traveled to Puerto Rico for the Caribbean Winter Invitational. The team had a 6 a.m. flight.

Caribbean Winter Invitational -- Day 2

Meet day saw the debut of 13 gymnasts at their new level. Four gymnasts medaled and all gymnasts did well. The team then finished the long day with dinner at the Hard Rock Cafe in Old San Juan.

Caribbean Winter Invitational -- Day 3

The third day of Wildcard's Puerto Rico trip saw the team visit El Yunque rain forest followed by a swim at the pool and a dinner at a local restaurant.

Caribbean Winter Invitational -- Day 4

Wildcard Gymnastics final day in the Caribbean had the team visit Old San Juan and enjoy some time at the beach in Dorado.

Altius Winter Invitational

WIldcard's Levels 3s, 4s and 8s returned to meet action capped with an all-around win in Level 8 by Andrea G., setting club records in bars and all-around in the process.

Midwest Twisters Invitational

WIldcard's boys and girls teams competed at the Midwest Twisters Hal's Harley-Davidson Invitational. Three of the five boys placed, including a first-place finish by Ken I. in Level 5. The Level 4s (above) were the first group to compete.

Oshkosh Optional Invitational

The Level 8s competed in the last regular-season USA Gymnastics-sanctioned competition of the season. Andrea G. set the club record for bars during the meet.

Flip for Fun Invitational

Wildcard competed 35 gymnasts at the Flip for Fun Invitational in Watertown, Wis.

Wisconsin Girls' State Championships

Andrea G. became Wildcard's first regional qualifer with a seventh-place finish in the All-Around at the state meet. She finished second on vault, missing out on first place by .025 points.

Wisconsin Men's State Championships

The Wildcard boys finished the season strong. Ken I. won the state championship in the all-around in Level 5, while teammate Eli C. was the Level 5 state champion in horizontal bar and parallel bars. In Level 4, all three gymnasts placed, led by a first-place finish on vault from Andy Z.

Region IV Championships

Andrea G. became Wildcard Gymnastics' first regional medalist, placing third on bars, fourth on beam, sixth in vault and eighth in the all-around, despite a strange route which led her to Los Angeles, with a practice at Studio West Gymnastics in Torrance, Calif., before heading to Kansas City.

AAU State Championships

A large contingent competed for Wildcard at the AAU State Championships in Reedsburg, Wis., on April 17-18. Five Wildcard gymnasts took state titles. Ashley W. and Alex S. won all-around titles in Levels 6 and 8 respectively. Janet S. won bars in the adult division, Hallie F. won Level 5 bars and Lilli J. won Level 4 beam to cap a strong competitive season.

Awards Banquet

Badger State Games

The entirety of Wildcard Gymnastics' girls team competed at the Badger State Games in Kimberly on June 19. Hallie F., Mackenzie P., Heidi K., and Andrea G. each won gold medals at the games.

One Coach's Wedding

Megan Rooney, a Wildcard coach since the gym's opening, became Megan Blanchette with several other coaches and team girls in the wedding and at the reception.

AAU Age Group National Championships

Wildcard Gymnastics crowned two national champions -- Bradyn F. (above) in four-year-old Level 3 and Hallie F. in six-year-old Level 5 -- at the AAU Age Group National Championships held at Disney's ESPN Wilde World of Sports. In all, four Wildcard Gymnasts earned 12 top three finishes at the national meet.

Wauwatosa Independence Day Parade and Team Cookout

Wildcard Gymnastics marched and tumbled down North Avenue in its fifth-straight Independence Day Parade followed by a team cookout.
